Biography
He has authored/edited many textbooks and monographs in the field of clinical genetics, cardiovascular genetics and genomic medicine & healthcare. He is passionate for raising awareness and promoting importance of inherited cardiovascular conditions (ICC) in clinical cardiology and genetic medicine. He is acknowledged with the benchmark practice of ‘multi-disciplinary care for inherited/familial heart diseases’. He founded and leads the ‘Global Familial Heart Challenge’ project for identification and detection of preventable familial heart diseases globally. He is one of the founding members of the Association for Inherited Cardiac Conditions (AICC) and serves on the British Heart Foundation led national steering group for ICC.
